I've been reading some things over the last few days. Not a single one of them makes me happy at all.
First a quick question, who lives with the motto "To Serve and Protect?"
Sure as hell isn't grocery stores, cashiers, street vendors or anything or anyone else along those lines.
Does anyone still not know?
Police
Fire Fighters
Military
Yet these same people and their families.... they get turned away from places because of their jobs.
THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!!
Without those people there would be no America.
Without those people there would be no big money companies to take consumer profits and line their pockets.
Yet someone walks in with a shirt that says "Police lives matter, All lives matter" They're told to leave???
Someone wearing a hat that says Veteran and earned purple hearts lives on the streets?
THIS IS BULL! It's way beyond bull actually.
I can't believe that people in america, in a national consumer chain store have become so stupid and corrupt that they say "I can't serve you because I'm offended by your shirt" (hat or what ever else.) You make what... maybe $7.25 an hour part time? What gives you the right to say that they can't buy groceries? Do you own the company? If so why are you behind a cash register? Why are you a door greeter? Why are you going into the parking lot and pushing carts?
HEY BIG COMPANY:::: GET YOUR EMPLOYEES IN CHECK! If the personnel and families of those professions were to completely boycott your stores how much money do you think you'd loose? You're probably thinking "Oh well average family is 4-5 people so one family loss is not that much"
Do you have any idea how families with members outside of a central household are effected by this? An officer's brother who doesn't live there will surely stop. As will their parents, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and children. Not to mention close family friends. That is a minimum of probably 60 house holds that will stop going to your stores because of one idiot employee. Now multiply that by an average of let's say there's 200 officers that are in a station. 2-30 stations per city. (we'll go with 2 for this diagram) That is 24,000 families for one city that will no longer use your store!!! and let's just use Texas as an example with well over 3,200 cities in the entire state . (using the 3,200 for math) That makes a total of 76,800,000 families that refuse to go to your store!
How many profits will you have left after that? How will you keep that money in your pocket? You won't. There will be major downsizing, lost jobs, lost wages. And because of this your stores themselves will decline. Not enough cashiers, not enough stockers, not enough people cleaning. Your stores will end up looking like a dump with garbage and rancid food. In the end you wouldn't be able to afford someone to come out and fix that broken freezer so all the food in it goes bad and that will be less food you'll be able to sell because of the malfunction. Less money coming into the store and thereby less money to be able to keep up with supply and demand so you'll skyrocket your prices and even less people will come and buy and you'll cut wages and less people will work for you.
Chain reaction. That's all it is.
Next time do something about those employees of yours. Are they really helping your business? I for one will never go to a store that treats their customers, their PAYCHECK, in such a way and neither will any of my friends or family. Even if it was the only store in the city i'll go the next city or as far as 50 miles out of my way to go to a decent store that doesn't treat their customers like complete and utter crap.
